Port Hawkesbury, NS – April 19, 2026– With broken hearts, we announce Daniel “Jorden” MacDougall, 33, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026. Born December 2, 1992, in Antigonish, NS, this obituary 2026 honors a lifelong team player.
Eldest son of John Daniel and Hughina Christine (MacLeod) MacDougall, Jorden thrived in sports youthfully. Joining the Armed Forces in 2014, he served passionately until injury led to NSCC Marine Engineering studies and pilot certification pursuits with Cactus Ship Repair Inc.
Survived by parents, brother Brayden Joseph (Claudia), girlfriend Kathleen Dooley (Sydney Mines), aunts, uncles, cousins. Predeceased by grandparents Donald Bernard & Katherine Florence MacDougall, Hugh A & Mary Agnes MacLeod, aunt/godmother Charlene Marie Edwards, uncles Angus Mark & Joseph MacLeod, aunt Ronalda (infancy). Jorden’s proud, dedicated spirit shone in every team. Volunteer firefighter with Port Hawkesbury Fire Department, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43 member—Jorden’s service inspired all, his legacy fueling community pride.
