Kentucky – 2026– With shattered hearts, we mourn the sudden passing of Jake Fischer, kendama icon “Fish,” who tragically passed away in 2026 after a wrong-way motorist struck his vehicle. This obituary 2026 celebrates a freestyle pioneer whose tricks and spirit endure.
Hailing from Kentucky, Jake burst onto the kendama scene in 2015, dominating with gravity-defying combos. A Bluegrass Swim Club alum and past employee, he balanced athletic prowess with infectious energy, turning hobbies into legacies.
Jake was a devoted son to his proud parents, brother to siblings who called him family’s firecracker, and friend to the world. His all-or-nothing personality—go-for-broke grit, squeaky-clean precision (no wobble, no touch), and coach-like cheers from stage-side—rode for teammates like a boxer’s corner man. “Fish” inspired kids globally.
From 2015-2017, Jake reigned: back-to-back Freestyle titles at BATB, wins at NAKO, NKR, C&F, and 5x KWC Finalist. He birthed the “Fish Special” combo, pushing kendama forward. His legacy? Endless inspiration, cleaner tricks, and a community he ignited from Kentucky to worldwide stages.
